Welcome to Tech Nation 2017, probably the most comprehensive evaluation of the UK Digital Tech Ecosystem. Tech Inclusion events are a safe and progressive area for individuals across every gender, race, ethnicity, religion, country of origin, sexual orientation, seen and invisible capacity, and age, as well as veterans and other people formerly incarcerated.
Working via a faculty funded Launch Grant, Lower Faculty science teacher Ms. Derrien has teamed up with Technology Specialist, Tony Cai and Makerspace Mentor, Joseph Heitzman to carry an augmented reality (AR) sandbox to the Lower Faculty campus.
Moreover, Chicago Public Schools will work with Microsoft to supply Microsoft’s IT Academy curriculum content at the group degree to help lecturers with increased entry to technology sources to bolster their means to show very important technological abilities successfully.
We want to thank our Tech Nation Neighborhood Companions – over 220 of them, our board and advisory panel, the UK Government; from No 10 Downing Road to DCMS; and of course, Tech Metropolis UK – a workforce we’re so proud to be a part of. We hope you’ll join in celebrating the large successes showcased in Tech Nation 2017.
The objectives of this program are to engage college students around technology in a optimistic, professional-social approach, to encourage student mastery of technology, and to empower students to turn out to be resources for technology in our building.
